The Master of Arts in Counseling program strives to train exceptional future counselors through a core curriculum of 51 required credits that encompass the eight foundational knowledge and skill areas supporting a professional counselor identity. Students then have 9 credits to use toward a specialization or electives. The 60-credit program is designed to be pursued in an online cohort model and offers two areas of specialization: Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Addiction Counseling.
