The Bachelor of Arts, Special Education, Mild-to-Moderate (BASPMM) is a competency-based degree program that prepares teacher candidates to apply for a license in Special Education (K-12). The program prepares prospective teachers to work with students with mild to moderate disabilities in a variety of educational settings, and culminates with supervised student teaching in two authentic classroom placements, one elementary and one secondary special education setting.
