Introductory Sociology
University of North Alabama
This course examines how social forces shape our behaviors and how we in turn affect the society in which we live. Students learn to apply for sociological perspective through an analysis of culture, socialization, crime and deviance, social inequality, and the primary institutions such as family, religion, government, and education.
